Nokia Announces Budget-Friendly Lumia 620

Nokia has launched a new Windows Phone 8 smartphone, the Lumia 620.
The device, which has been announced at LeWeb 2012 in Paris, sports a 3.8-inch, 800x400 pixel screen, a 1 GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 Plus CPU, and a 5-megapixel camera. The device has 512MB of RAM and 8GB of storage memory, further expandable to 64GB via microSD memory cards.
On the connectivity front, you get Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth 3.0 and NFC.
The price reflects the device's middling specs -- it will be available for $249. It's the first entry-level WP8 device from Nokia; the first two are the much more powerful Lumia 920 and the mid-range Lumia 820.
The Lumia 620 will first become available in Asia in January 2013, followed by Europe, the Middle East and other countries.
